Need Lots of Fresh Leads? Use These Four Internet Strategies

Before you can earn lots of cash,
you have to find at least a few people who are ready to buy your product
or service. Get LOTS of
leads and your customer base and sales explode.
There are all kinds of ways to get leads. Some pull in lots of
traffic but are extremely expensive. Your own network TV
commercial would put you on the map immediately, but spending
millions to get one would be a bit ridiculous.
Here are five very affordable ways to get leads. Use these over
and over. Combine them. You'll find your list of prospects and
customers grows steadily.
1. Start with a killer web site sales letter. You will
need this page to turn visitors into leads. Make it talk
directly to the kinds of people you want to attract. Talk about
their problems, their dreams, then hint at how you can erase
their problems and make their dreams come true. Promise a report
filled with information that is valuable to your prospects. Have
them fill out a short form including their email address and
phone number before receiving the report. You can put the report
on a separate page or have an autoresponder email it to people.
2. Run ads in ezines. When I see those claims that email
marketing is dead, I have to laugh. Email is by far the most
popular feature of the Internet. Ezines are the main way solid
blocks of information are passed from experts to audiences. Put
an ad in an ezine that your best prospects are likely to read
carefully and regularly, and you can expect to get results.
3. Place ads on pay-per-click search engines. Sites like
Overture.com and NetFlip.com let you pay several cents or more
for every person who clicks on your listing and goes to your
site. These leads may not be as easy to convert to sales as
other methods, but pay-per-clicks are a great way to get lots of
traffic without working very hard.
4. Write your own article and mention your lead-harvesting page
in the author paragraph at the bottom (just like this article!).
This is the number one way to pull in serious people who already
believe you can deliver. After someone reads all through your
article and comes away thinking you know your subject, they
already have a high level of trust that you can help them. What?
You don't like to write? Approach one of the many writers on the
Internet and ask them to ghostwrite your article for you. Many
of America's top business authorities have all their material
written by others.
Finally, follow up on the leads you get. The biggest problem
most businesses have isn't getting the leads, but making good use
of them. Email, then call. Then email again. People have a lot
of companies competing for their attention. Show you really care
about getting their business, and many prospects will become
enthusiastic customers.
