That's right. Design a free ebook and give it
away from your website. Sure, you could find other free
ebooks and give those away too but writing your own has
some serious advantages.
For starters, you write the ebook and give it away free.
Since you're the author, you get some credibility and the
recognition as an expert. Simply add links to the ebook
that point back to website and watch the traffic pour in.
Also, increase ezine subscriptions by including your
subscription form in your ebook.
Offering freebies also adds value to your site and encourages
repeat traffic.
VIRAL MARKETING ANYONE?
The viral marketing effect of your own
free ebooks will blow you away. Simply allow those who
download your ebook to give it away from their sites. The
ebook will multiply as it spreads around the internet as
will your exposure.
Others get to ad value to THEIR sites by offering your ebook
to their visitors but the links in such an ebook point back to
YOUR site.
See the possibilities? As the book spreads, your site gets
traffic with no further effort from you.
USE "PAY-PER-RANK" SEARCH ENGINES LIKE "GO-TO.COM"
If you have a good site this could be a great value. You

WRITE ARTICLES FOR OTHER EZINES.
This is a powerful technique and is
virtually free. Like writing ebooks, doing this will get
you recognized as an expert and there are ezine publishers
who are hungry for your articles.
Simply collect the contact information of ezine publishers
who accept articles. Next, write an article appropriate
for their ezine's target market (it should be the same as
yours for this to work.) and submit it to them. Include
your signature file or byline with the article that has a
link to your website or product and watch the hit count
soar!
Basically, this is like getting a free ad in an ezine. If
you've been around long you know this screams value.
BUY EZINE ADS.
Don't have time to write articles or just
plain hate writing? Well, this is one of the best ways
to advertise online and with good reason. Ezine advertising
is still a bargin and is also Highly targeted.
Find an ezine that caters to your target market and buy an ad.
For about 30 bucks, I took out a spot in another ezine
that sent my ad out to about 3500 subscribers.
Not bad!
If you've got a good ad this will bring some targeted traffic
to your site and hopefully some sales to boot.
PUBLISH YOUR OWN EZINE.
Since we're on the subject, publish your own ezine. I believe
this to be the number one way to get repeat traffic to your
website and is crucial to your long term success. You get
recognized an an expert and it only takes a few hours a week.
Publishing an ezine drives targeted traffic to your website and
keeps them coming back. With an ezine, you've got a captive
audience who you can announce upgrades, new downloads, deals,
special offers and other affaires with your website to.
Treat your subscribers right by offering them value and you're
in business. A newsletter is becoming one of the best ways to
grow your online business.
GO OPT-IN.
This is an advertising tactic that gets results. Opt-in
lists are email lists compiled by others (mostly ezine
publishers) who will send your ad - alone to their list.
Although a bit more costly then ezine advertising, if you
need to get a quick boost in traffic and sales this works!

link back to your website or your sig file and you get some extra
free traffic.
DO A JOINT VENTURE.
It's simple. If you find someone who has good
traffic, make it work for you. Offer to trade links (post a link
to their site and they'll feature yours.)
Have an ezine? Swap ads with other publishers.
Have a product? The possibilities are endless.
Grab a notepad and start collecting possible JV contacts. Contact
them every few months. You'll soon hear a lot of doors opening.
